PKR have announced that they are joining forces with Microgaming, the Microgaming Poker Network or the MPB to close friends, and this is going to provide plenty of new games, promotions and benefits to players. This move sees PKR retaining its own signature software while joining the Microgaming Poker Network. Supposedly this is all down to the API technology used by Microgaming but we are less bothered about that, and more interested in the games and benefits on offer to players.

PKR Poker for MacThe world-famous PKR Poker is all set to follow similar lines, but it will be bigger and better. In fact, the talk from both companies is that the partnership will make PKR Poker 6 times bigger, as this is how many more players will be able to play online at the same time, and this means that there are going to be more games and even bigger prizes for players to look out for. PKR Poker has always stood by itself due to its innovative look and feel, and it is good to know that these will remain in place, while the incentive to play becomes bigger.

There are lots of new games for players to enjoy

The bigger changes are going to come with PKR Casino and PKR Vegas. There are over 500 new branded games being made available to players, so if you are looking for reliable portfolio options, PKR should be able to meet all of your online gaming needs.

The really good news for poker players comes with the bump in value for a number of tournaments and you can look forward to the $10,000 Mini Masters, which is a modest buy-in tournament with a big prize fund and there is also the Jackpot Sit N Go event, where someone has recently turned 9 minutes of play and a $12 buy-in into $10,000. This is the magic that happens with the new-style PKR and if you want to taste some of this magic, get involved.

There is also a big holiday promotion with PKR Casino with a $50,000 Dream Holiday promotion serving up plenty of cash prizes and 5 luxury holidays. The most important thing about this change is that the poker on offer from PKR remains the same, it’s just everything else around it that has been improved.
